..."Donegal beckons... Now there is a new reason to go. In Ramelton in North Donegal, a fine house called Frewin has opened its doors to guests..."
Review by Mary Dowey as featured in Image Magazine
Frewin is an important, unaltered Victorian house, in mature wooded grounds, on the outskirts of historic Remelton. Formerly the rectory, the house has been painstakingly restored and authentically furnished by Thomas and Regina.
"Architecturally, this is a fascinating house - a Victorian mansion rich in period features and quirky, curvaceous detail " ..."Frewin's interior is delightful - a brilliant mix of flair and restraint"

Ramelton
Ramelton is an unspoilt Heritage Town at the mouth of the River Lennon, on the western shore of Lough Swilly, and boasts a number of fine examples of the architecture of the 17th century and Georgian periods.

It is an ideal base for walking or touring Donegal's wild mountainous countryside and spectacular coastline, with fine beaches, horse riding, golf courses, tennis, river and deep-sea fishing, plus restaurants within easy distance.
