Slieve League Sea Cliffs, Co. Donegal
The spectacular Slieve League cliffs are the highest sea-cliffs in Europe. Located in the south west of County Donegal they are some 1972 feet high. From the approach road, which twists and turns its way up, their are wonderful views of the Atlantic Ocean but nothing can compare with the views from the car park of the majestically steep sea cliffs across from you. From here you can park and walk extensively up and across the cliff top. These stunning views continue as you walk along One Man’s Pass which is a sharp ridge approx. 400m long with very steep slopes on either side. A truly wonderful place for sightseer’s and hikers alike.
Just over an hours drive from Slieve League, through some of Donegal’s most scenic countryside, you will find Frewin Country House Bed and Breakfast accommodation which is located in the historic town of Ramelton, near Letterkenny, in the centre of County Donegal. Formerly a rectory and surrounded by a mature wooded garden, Frewin Country House B & B offers its guests a warm and friendly welcome in an atmosphere of comfort and relaxation. Frewin is a charming and romantic retreat and ideal for small intimate family gatherings.
